Hello & Goodbye

As always, apologies are in order for it has been a while, though fortunately this has been because of a lack of time to write, rather than a lack of things to say :)

That's right - you have been warned!

Big and little kids at Alex's 30th

It must still be summer as August and September have seen lots of comings and goings through London... Pat and Em left for their 'odessey de wheels' through Europe; Sid, Simone and Ollie arrived; Denise, Duncan, Max and Breaghna made a fleeting visit to Sun City, Ben and Nat graced the Pennard Road drop in doss-centre and Kathy, Tristan and Ry have all passed through. Good times!

Pat and Em's (temporary) farewell

Fortunately there have been a couple of opportunities to escape the lovely chaos that is our home, with a trip up to Norfolk for Alex's 30th (surely not?) birthday. We also made it down to Roh and Ain's place again for a country walk, which was going well until the obligatory lunchtime pints (all walks here specify the midway and end pubs) kicked in and we managed to get mildly lost...

Pints at lunch = lost

With so many people about and work life starting to kick-in, there has been plenty to keep us busy. There have been plenty of concerts and theatre (Michael Franti, John Butler Trio, Vegemite Tales and Producers) and on the odd weekend when the sun decided to grace us with its presence, plenty of pavement beers and park action. The previous sentence once again proving the love-hate relationship that everyone seems to have with the exciting/annoying, lively/dreary city of London...

And for those of you that are interested (and you must be if you have read this far!), we celebrated having spent 9 fantastic years together in August! That's right we started going out at age 12!
